Nikita Zadorov is a young Defenseman that has only two seasons of 41+ GP in his career, thus he is only eligible for a bridge contract. His two full seasons are the 14/15 and 16/17 seasons, so this was taken into account. Another factor considered was that he may be looking to return home to the KHL.
