Yeah it is valid. I stated that dispersal draft was all players and prospects from the non-selected players PLUS the non-selected prospects from the selected teams.

I have to imagine that Colorado not taking Jost was an oversight. It should not be a valid pick.

I have to imagine that Colorado not taking Jost was an oversight. It should not be a valid pick. Exactly, I'm sure colorado overlook him, it must be a mistake. I'm willing to give him the chance to at least drop a prospect and take him as one of his 15 because that's a huge mistake by Colorado. I'm willing to give him one redo !! Does Colorado want to keep Jost. As one of your 15? If so, who do you drop ?

i think Arizona almost made the same mistake with Clayton Keller since neither is listed in capfriendly due to not signing an ELC

And this is why we wanted everyone on Whatsapp. We are sitting here now waiting for Colorado to respond and no other way to answer, and it's holding up the draft. I'd be alright with him having Jost back honestly, but we are waiting for a response from two different teams without a quick way of getting a hold of them. Maybe have a time limit for a response and then move on I suppose if we don't get a response in time.

Its probably best result as i see at least 2 teams so far identifying they would have draft Jost earlier but he was a Colorado prospect IRL

Pick #71 is reversed and Tyson Jost is Colorado's propery and ineligible to be selected. Under these circumstances, the trade between PIT/CGY can also be cancelled without 5 objections from the league.

Under these circumstances, the trade between PIT/CGY can also be cancelled without 5 objections from the league. based on what?....colorado isn't a brand new GM(like DAL), he had time to make his selections, you stated in the chatbox that he only wanted to select 12 prospects, the prospects he listed on the master roster google sheet don't include Jost and he added the prospects on fantrax that he did list on the google sheet and Jost was not one of them. you also stated it was a valid pick and the pieces were confirmed. what is the basis for such a sudden reversal?

The fact that he confirmed in the chatbox after my post that he was sure Jost was one of his included prospects. I didn't ask him to confirm his list of prospects, I simply asked if he was only selecting 12, I wasn't reading through every single name while checking 20 rosters by myself.
If it makes you more comfortable I can put it up for a league vote on the matter, but your trade alone could be rejected on the basis that there's quite a few GMs who seem to object to it.

no need to put it up to a league vote,
so what happens with the 71st pick now?
