is it possible to bid on players when a team is over the maximum roster limit? according to the master roster sheet pit has 26 players on his roster and might be 27 with daniel brickley....

It's not possible, but most of the guys are on the IR according to fantrax. However, some guys I just checked shouldn't really be eligible for IR but fantrax allows it (have an injury from last season but still are eligible). I didn't check the nature of the injury, I'll waive/demote guys to make room for this potential signing.
