2018-19 - 1.75 FP/G Tier 1 2017-18 - 1.37 FP/G Tier 2 2016-17 - 1.32 FP/G Tier 2 2015-16 - N/A
Mitch had 2 good first years then exploded last year and jumped to a new tier.
Last seasons range is 7.25-8 Mil , because of his 2 previous years in tier 2 that should knock him down a range, but his trending upwards cancels that out.
Because it's a bridge deal and his average is 1.5ish, I would like to go with the lowest salary option of that range.
I'd like to offer
2 years @ 7.25 Mil

If only the negotiations in real life were logical and fair like this.
I agree with your reasoning and believe this is a solid deal, especially considering it’s only 2 years.
Truthfully, I would’ve been fine with 500K-1M less too.
Approved. 1-0.
Now hopefully he plays next year!

I think this will end up being a tiny bit of a steal, but based on all the factors this offer is completely justified and correct. Obviously regressing from 94 points is very much in the cards. Very fair bridge deal
