<Seth Jones> 2015/2016: .89 fpts/game (81 games) Tier 3 -2m 2014/2015: .76 fpts/game (73 games) Depth - 1.25m 2013/2014: .72/game (77 games) Depth - 1.25m 2012/2013: fpts/game (# games) Did not play It sucks he just hit tier 3 by a hair and needs a bridge deal We will offer a 2 year bridge deal at 1.5m a year since he has 2 full seasons at a lower production tier.

Deny,
I hate being the guy to decline contracts but once again, nothing has been allowed for his potential or playing situation as explained below.
Jones, was playing in a limited role in Nashville, now that he's been moved to Jackets and is arguably their number 1 defensman he's showing that he's capable of breaking into the 1+ fpts/game with more of a supporting cast this year.
Going by what I mentioned above I would use this previous season as a guideline for salary with the added potential bonus. I would be expecting something around 2 x 2.5m

Need some votes here. Denied as well, 0-2. Would like to see him max out the tier on a short term contract. 2 years @ 2 mil per
After the trade his fppg in Columbus: January - 1.1 (12 GP) February - 1 (13 GP) March - 1 (13 GP) April - 1.22 fppg (5 GP) + big increase in icetime
Can already argue that Nashville asking for 2 x 2.5 might even still be a steal considering since joining Columbus he was in the 3-5M dollar production ranges.
JUST TO CLARIFY: Do not need to go into this much depth for voting. Was simply showing month-to-month number to explain that even though up a salary range, it would likely still be a very good contract for Jones if he is approved at 2 years @ 2,500,000 per.

If I had of look into his numbers this in depth then absolutely he should be getting 3-5m.

You don't. I mean you can, but it's a little too detailed. I was just throwing them up to show that either way it's a very good contract at 2-2.5

Yeah it should be maxed out, I agree with the others. He's going to be a beast next year as #1 D (or 2).
Either way an extra million is still a steal.
0-3.
