Potential Vegas pick of the Flames Mike Stone is a very reliable defenseman. He won't blow you away with his offensive numbers, but his peripherals are very good therefore being a pretty effective fantasy defensemen. Averaging .95 fpts per game over his career, Stone finds himself as a tier 3 defenseman. Last year he struggled with injuries hurting his fpts/g but seemed to pick it up when traded to Calgary at the deadline. With the potential to log minutes for Vegas, or be a steady 3/4 guy for another team, I offer him

Unfortunately, I have to say nay on this proposal. I'd like to see at the very least a 2.1 Mil offer. I know arguing over such a small amount seems ridiculous, but it's that sub 2 mil amount where he wouldn't count against the cap that makes this deal too good IMO.
If you offered him a 1 yr deal I'd say the 1.8 is fair, but his past production and 4 yr average is in the 2-3 mil range for a long term deal for me.
Disapprove 1/3
