Bobby Ryan
2015/2016: 1.26 fpts/game (81 games)
2014/2015: 1.32 fpts/game (78 games)
2013/2014: 1.34 fpts/game (70 games)
2012/2013: 1.26 fpts/game (46 games)
average 1.29 fpts/game
Offer: 2 years @ 5M per.
I am an avid Sens watcher and while Ryan shows flashes in the first half, his pattern has been to disappear in the second half. I am also considering his age. At 29, he isn't likely to improve his speed or intensity. Two year offer to see if he can prove me wrong.

decline. 0-1 Just too low.
It's true that B. Ryan had bad 2015 - 2016 season, but I don't think that Ryan is getting old or slow. I think that Ryan had tough time to focus on hockey, because his mother was dying to liver cancer.

okay fair points.. please give me a number you would accept.
and 2015-16 was identical to 2014-15.. started off well and disappeared in the second half. I watch every Sens game.. I speak with a degree of knowledge.
All I read from hockey fans from around N. America (on message boards) is that Ryan's contract is one of the worst in the league.

You right about 2014-2015 season. Still I think that 2 year contract should be around $5.500.000 per year. But hey, that's just me. You should wait and see if other GM's are sharks like you

Have to decline as well. I'd be looking for 6 a year which translates exactly to your 1.29 and also reflects the fact the previous 2 years are higher.

decline (0-3)
i agree with Chris
Ryan is consistent, ranging from 1.26 to 1.34 so an avg makes sense = 1.29 which puts him at the higher part of the bracket (1.20 - 1.29) and considering that he's not necessarily on a decline i'd also have him @ $6m
