Ineligible buyout term (needs to be 1 year or the life of the contract).
Are you that tight on cap? If you wait until there's more news then MacArthur would be eligible for a special exemption buyout at no cost since he's an inherited contract.

are buyouts still allowed? When does the window close( thought it was August)? Yeah I think you're right. But if MacArthur gets put on LTIR due to his career basically being over and it is an inherited contract, we plan to let this contract dissolve for the Sens GM. Special Amnesty clause.
