2018/2019 - 1.3 FPPG - 82 GP - Tier 2 2017/2018 - 1.65 FPPG - 82 GP - Tier 1 2016/2017 - 1.61 FPPG - 73 GP - Tier 1 2015/2016 - 0 GP 3-Season Weighted Average: 1.52
Offer: 3 years @ 6,000,000
He falls into the falloff contract rule, but I'm going to push the bill on this situation and offer him a 3 year deal in the mid-range, 2 salary ranges above his most recent season, which falls in line with his 3-year weighted average.

I would approve this if it was a 2 yr deal. I appreciate the 2 range raise from last year but he's very young still and this year could be a blip on the radar. If he simply gets back to his 17/18 #s he will be worth 7 mil.
Would accept 3 x 7, 2 x 6 or 1 x 5

I think that it’s just as likely he doesn’t return to his 17/18 numbers and that the 2 range raise is a fair way of balancing this contract.

I like what colin said. I think that last season is an aberration. Im totally fine with going for a longer term contract. My problem is how last season effects his median score, which then drops him into a range he shouldn't be in.
The pricing colin posted above is perfect imo

I think it should be a pay level above his median to make it fair, in the 6.75-7mil for 3 years would be perfect for sure. Sorry Jacob!
