Dylan Larkin
2019/2020: 1.47 / 71 GP - Tier 2
2018/2019: 1.95 / 76 GP - ELITE
2017/2018: 1.32 / 82 GP - Tier 2
2016/2017: 0.82 / 80 GP - Tier 3
$5,750,000 X 4 years is my offer, which I believe is a fair deal given the varied production history of this player. This player has 1 outlier season where production was elite, he is trending downwards, there is not a clear upward trend.

2 year deal I can approve but 4 years? I cannot. Guy is 24, coming off a 1.9 fp/g season and played on by far the worst team in the league, I feel like that needs to be considered.
If he had a 1.41 season last year he would be considered trending up and would therefore need more money for the extra years.

I'll have to down vote too, it would've been perfect as a 2 year deal, but not as a 4 year deal. $6,500,000 x 3 years or $7,000,000 x 4 years would be closer imo.
1-2

Agreed with Colin on this. Larkin is not old enough, nor had enough time to say that his 1.9 fpts/g is an outlier. He is trending up, and with Detroit likely to get better, he is only going to improve. If you are looking for a show me contract, two years at 5.75 is fine, but you will have to pay extra for the additional years.
1-3
