2020/2021 - 1.27 fppg | 50GP | TIER 2 2019/2020 - 0.74 fppg | 65GP | DEPTH 2018/2019 - 0.84 fppg | 61GP | TIER 3 2017/2018 - 0.61 fppg | 69GP | DEPTH
Offer: 2 years @ 3,000,000
Career year on the back of a career SH% year and a bump in PP time. No year over 1 fppg before this shortened season, so attempting to move down a tier on a bridge deal.

I think with Zach's age, his upwards trend should negate the years in a lower tier. As such I think this offer is a bit low.
I'd approve 1 x 3M or 2 x 3.5M

It would be 3x4 and 4x4.25 if I wanted to go LT and avoid bridge, or i have to go up a range even further?
Or 250K increments beyond 2 years? (3.75/4)?

1-2 yea I think this is totally fine.
1. Contract is correctly offered using the steps in the rules. 2. This is a bridge for a young player that had a career year on a terrible Devils team. Hischier will be back from injury, therefore I don't see Zacha playing in a top 6 role.
There's enough risk here. If you want to argue for 1 year, fine - but I don't see why this isn't approvable.

1-3
While Zacha parlayed some perhaps unsustainable stats, he is a young player with prospect pedigree, so this isn't something totally unexpected. Think if you want 1x3, thats good, but even for two years, 3.5M is my mark
