Matt Murray
2015/2016: 39 fpts (13 GP) 2014/2015: DNP 2013/2014: DNP 2012/2013: DNP
Matt Murray is a very interesting player. According to the rules, we are supposed to focus contracts based on regular season numbers, however I understand some GMs will be swayed by his performance in the playoffs. This is fair, but it should only factor into the contract, not be the foundation of it.
For goalies, fpts are considered when offering a contract, not fppg. His 39 fpts indicate around 0.75M - 1.5M. Factoring in his potential, will offer:
2 years @ 2,500,000

Considering we have no idea how the Pittsburgh goalie situation will pan out and that you are giving him a raise this year of about 1.75 mil . It's almost like your paying him 4.25 Mil next season. So based on pure numbers and unpredictable results, I approve. 1 - 0.

this is a real odd one.. he is currently signed at 1 yr 750k so essentially you want to pay him 4.25m for a 2nd year. If anything this looks like an overpayment to me and i easily approve.
