Want to feel out how many GMs would be interested in us hosting a league town hall meeting in the coming months? We'd organize a night and jump on a group call. Idea would be to open up (and vote on) league matters (new rules, adjustments, grievances). Of course, this would not be required, as I'm sure there are a number of GMs who are happy to allow the Commissioners to handle league matters and focus on building their roster. Current Items on the docket for this offseason: - Potential scoring adjustments/rebalancing
- RFA compensation and bid matching
- Minors Management/Trade requests
- Feedback on 2 matchups a week regular season
- # of call-ups per week (decreasing and allowing IR call-ups)
May be missing things, I'm happy to add just about anything to the discussion. Want to hear your feedback, and ideally we'd have a full agenda built out before the call to keep it structured. Ideally, we'd have at least 5+ GMs interested in joining and I'd imagine minimum 1 hour will be needed. The more the merrier. |

Items I’d like to see discussed :
Goalie scoring overhaul. Current system is very boom or bust which averages out ok but on a weekly basis has far too much variance.
Set ratio for offseason resigns. For example if 40 relevant players need new contracts then resigns would be set a 2/team and if 80 relevant players then 4/team
Limit call up volume. 7 seems excessive. 3-5 seems better
I’d like to see playoff teams get a free waiver pass. Maybe finalists also get a free buyout.
Tanking penalties?
Several teams aren’t setting lineups and leaving superior pointing players in their minors.
Personally I like the 2/3 weekly matchups in the season.
I benefit but don’t like the 2 week playoffs.
In the minority but would like divisions overhauled and a conference based playoffs.
Should players in minors over .7 not on an elc demand a trade due to a lack of playing time and become ufa ?
