We would like to open things up to make some changes, some suggested by the mods and some from other GM's
Here are the main talking points :
- Potential scoring adjustments/rebalancing
- RFA compensation and bid matching
- Minors Management/Trade requests
- Feedback on 2 matchups a week regular season/new playoff setup
- # of call-ups per week (decreasing and allowing IR call-ups)
Over the course of the next 5 weeks we will have a discussion per week followed by a vote if applicable for each one of these items.
In this thread I would like to just allow general comments about other things you guys would like to change or improve. If someone suggests something not mentioned already, like it or comment that you support it if you agree and if a suggestion gains enough traction we will look at discussing it further as well as the other items on the agenda.
I will leave this post open for the duration of the other threads and at the end we will possibly add another item to discuss etc.

I suggest quality starts or whatever it's called in hockey and reduce the points for a win. That way you get the points when your goalies actually play well. It sucks to no points when your loses 1-0 with 40 saves and it doesnt equal much.

***** 1 ***** Shorthanded Goals should have more value than Shorthanded assists. Therefore two separate classes.
***** 2 ***** Then Power Play Points (PPP) and Short Handed Points (SHP) have the egual coeficient 0.25.
Here must be also some difference. It is way harder to score or to have a point in SH situation.
***** 3 ***** Can we have some special category? How about GWG in overtime?

One thing I'd like to change is have any player's salary on the IR for any length of time be off the books until they return. Would lessen the upkeep on the LTIR side of things and keep teams competitive if they lose a big money player. It's very unlikely a team will go out and acquire a high salary player to replace someone on the short term IR and if they do then they will be forced to waive someone down the line.

Looking at the scoring settings there doesn't seem to be a quality start type thing for goalies. But we do plan to overhaul goalie scoring anyway it's just a matter of by how much which will be discussed soon!
