We would like to propose a new RFA Offer sheet compensation chart.
Current :
Less than $1,500,000 4th round pick in one of the next 2 drafts
$1,500,001 to $2,250,000 3rd round pick in next draft
$2,250,001 to $4,375,000 2nd round pick in next draft
$4,375,001 to $6,550,000 1st and 3rd round picks in next draft
$6,550,001 to $8,750,000 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round picks in next draft
$8,750,001 to $10,000,000 2 1sts, 2nd and 3rd round picks (all picks can be given up front in the next draft)
Over $10,000,001 3 1st round picks, 2 2nd round picks (at least 1 1st and 1 2nd must be available in the next draft, all picks can be given up front)
Less than $1,500,000 4th round pick in one of the next 2 drafts

We have run with the old compensation for 3 summers and while we have had a few bids (12 over 3 years) that were compensated and not one over the 3.5 Million bid. We feel the compensation for the current bid is too far off the value of the players being bid on, but the team is stuck with an overpay. We don't want to give the power to the RFA owner, just meet in the middle so we possibly see more compensations taken and less worry free bids to put a GM in a bad spot.
Again this is experimental and if nothing changes we may look into reverting back or tweaking yet again.
