2 new changes we'd like to implement for next season. One should be well received, the other I've added a poll and fully open for discussion.
1- We are proposing to ditch LTIR for cap relief. Instead, all players on IR will not count against the cap. This should allow teams to better manage their roster week-to-week when injuries hit.
2- To attempt to crack down on players being left sitting in a teams minors as depth, we are proposing that twice a year (2 weeks before the season starts and 1 month prior to our league TDL) any player with 120 or more GP AND a fantasy point per game average of 0.75 or higher will be placed on waivers.
Teams will have the opportunity to trade these players prior to the deadlines, but the intention is that the player will be traded to a team who needs him for their active roster.
Please let us know what you think of the above and participate in the poll!

To add, you can just call those players in your minors up as well to your main roster, you don't need to necessarily trade them or waive them. The stacked teams probably won't have active roster room for those guys, but just another note to add

Have a question on what constitutes an Ltir demotion. The fantrax “red flag” is used quite liberally on fantrax. The red flag with a cross would be better imo.

There are no more LTIR demotions with the new rule. Any injured player can be moved to IR and IR no longer counts against the cap. We changed the red cross with flag (meaning they're on IRL IR) to just injured because some teams don't put players on IR.

Honestly if a team has a superior player injured and the team is using a weaker player to fill in, it's not an advantage, but a guy having multiple injuries and being cap strapped isn't fun for anyone especially in a H2H league. With the short 2 day grace period to fix your IR, you can't stash guys either. Any other league I'm in, if you put a guy on the IR he can stay there until you pull him off.
