First ever re-sign let’s do dis.
Rickard Rakell
2019/2020: 1.26 / 1.27 FPPG (65 GP) - Tier 2 2018/2019: 1.26 / 1.24 FPPG (69 GP) - Tier 2 2017/2018: 1.66 / 1.64 FPPG (77 GP) - Tier 1 2016/2017: 1.40 / 1.37 FPPG (71 GP) - Tier 2
Rakell has not been as productive over the last two seasons as he was between 2016-2018. He can potentially rebound, but I think this is far from certain. Still - at 27 years of age, I think he is a valuable to asset to hold long term.
NYR would like to offer a contract within the range immediately higher than his last season’s production range.
$4.5M x 4
(Also, when filing remember that my team name changed from BOS to NYR at transfer of ownership.)
*edit: typo
*edit 2: Boldface as locked C method of showing stats. Doesn't change anything.

2-1
sorry gotta deny on this one. I would be looking for a 2 year deal on him as year 3-4 posted above are quite a significant bump on current year.
Bridge Contract Rule: 2 year max contract term Players who fall into one or more of the following criteria are subject to the Bridge Contract Rule:
c) Production tier in 2 or more previous full seasons (41GP+) are higher than production tier in most recent season (move to step 3b to see if it applies)
